A window in the San Luis Camp Adobe. The oldest adobe buildling in Merced County, Ca. Built in 1884 by Francisco Perez Pacheo. I thought a little history would be appreciated in this forum.

Along with everything in the image the window sill is wonderful with the bird droppings. I like it very much, thanks for sharing it. :toast:

Rich is interesting detail and textures and the focus with detail of the woods beyond is special. Outstanding image

Excellent image. I really like all the detail, with its textures, shapes and imperfections. The building has a lot of history and character.

The complexity of forms here is absorbing.. I wish we had a larger view also. I have a sense of being on the outside looking in, so that what we are seeing inside the immediate window is perhaps yet another window that is looking out from inside on some sort of porch, maybe, with a log roof either lit from underneith or perhaps an HDR effect.

So there are several layers, if that is the case, in addition to the layers, plaster and stone, in the adobe construction. A lot to see in this and all in sharp focus.
