Taken with my Nikon D-80 ISO 100 1/200 sec. f/9.0 70-300 Zoom lens. 4.5-5.6 Focal Length 122 mm. Taken into Photoshop and modified using Filter Forge. I like the effect it gave me, is this abstract? Not sure?

Since it's barely recognizable as a photograph, I'd have to say abstract - yes. I'm not that crazy about the composition here but I do love the colors and the effect this filter generates. Looks like a charcoal rendering.

Looks like abstract watercolor to me, and the result is terrific for my tastes.

I like it too William, definitely looks like an abstract painting. I just wish there was something in the top left corner.

This is neat, with interesting "barely" recognizable shapes and a nice color combination, very definitely abstract and somewhat impressionist. I do find the gray, "fuzzy" area near the ulc a bit distracting and wonder about cloning in some of the blue and purple background to cover that.
