Love your title John. We have a pair of camels at the Calgary zoo (Eva and Zsa Zsa) and they always amuse me with their expressions. Likewise, I think you've done a nice job at capturing the inherent humour and sense of mischief these guys seem to possess, as well as translating it into your title!
The dark opening(s) in their structure can provide you a really nice back-drop for a portrait shot on your next visit, if one of the camels cooperates and poses directly in front of it.

John, I really liked your composition, nice and tight. You can really see the texture in the hair and the camel in the background appears to be wearing a wig :). Also, the expression of the first one is funny, almost as if their sharing a joke. The overhead wires (?) are a little distracting, but I'm glad you chose to leave a little room up there. Thanks for posting.

Very amusing shot, John. The camel on the left especially, looks quite hilarious with his pompous expression and what looks to be a crazy hairdo. I like the way the camel on the right is silhouetted against the black background. . .even the hairs on his nose are visible! However, I'm trying to figure their placement out. . . Is the camel on the left right behind the hump of the right camel? Is the lighter hair that looks to be on the left camel actually on the hump of the right camel? Tricky and creative composing, John, and a very cool optical illusion shot.

Thanks for looking and commenting, Karen, Jim, and Carolyn Derstein.
As to the "illusion" of camel II, to the extent that does occur, it is because that camel walked behind the first hump of the first camel. Therefore, I would characterize it as more of an "obstacle illusion".
