A very nice version of a commonly photographed type of scene. The shutterspeed really works for me.

What a sky!! Perfect shutter speed for the water action, and great texture on the rocks. For my tastes, the water appears a little bright in contrast to the sky. Still, a killer shot.

Beautiful picture! I love how the clouds in the sky echo the water motion.

This is a very powerful image Glenn; great light, awesome sky and wonderful water action. I like your comp with the diagonal placement of FG, centre and further away rock plateaus.

One of the better seascapes I've seen in a while around here. Sick light and lines.

Wonderful flow to this image, Glenn, an excellent comp with all the essential elements. Would like to know the details of your settings for the blend. I really like the fact that you retained details in the moving water and yet show its motion. Superb work!

Very nice image, Glenn. I like the texture in the water and your composition leads my eye to the skyline to enjoy that nice color.

Stunning. Is this a stitch? In the upper right portion of the Foreground rock there seems to be slight edge disconnect, that appears like a bad stitch. Such cleans lines with that forground rock, then ....it skips a beat... Just my eye...

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
Kane - I'm not sure really sure about the disconnect but its not a stitch. I took one shot for the foreground and a second shot for the sky.

Glenn, I don't doubt that, I suppose its water dripping off the rock.

I have been looking at (or rather admiring) this one a few times now Glenn and have come to think that what makes this so visually appealing, besides the great light, colors, textures and well executed composition, is the fact that you have 3 main dark puffs of clouds that form such a wonderfully balancing element in the sky with your 3 FG rocks. Three is a magic number in composition and this image is benefiting double from that. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone, but it is just my strange analysis of this great photo.

This is a beautiful shot Glenn, the composition works for me. Love the movement of the water. Is this by the Hospital Reefs at La Jolla Coves?

Very well done. Great conditions. I like the repetition of the rocks and the angular line they follow.
