Please forgive my absence - I've recently had a major move (still in same town), a computer crash (no images lost, thank God) and mother's medical needs continue to increase - so I've really been drowning for almost 3 months.

But I'm just back from a 10-day respite in Sanibel with photography friends, and I have lots of images now to edit and share.

Really nice Sandy. Love the white, whites and the nice breeding plumage overall. The little twig adds as does the nice BG.

Hi Sandy: A very nice frame. Great exposure and the complimentary leaf color is perfect for the cattle egret.

Great shot Sandy.
The deep blue background shows off the white egret perfectly and the little patches of colour (bill, eye, brow, legs and twig) complete the image beautifully.
Well exposed and nicely sharp. :toast:

An unusual image for the species in my experience. Very nice!

Well done, Sandy! Welcome back! Well handled whites, pretty good detail and an unusual flight pose with the branch in its beak.

Very nice Sandy, I don't see any room for improvement here
Great light across the bird, sharp details.
I especially appreciate the excellent exposure of those whites!.:toast: :toast:

Hope things get better for you soon, sounds like you've been having a tough go of it lately.

A wonderful flight capture of this beauty.I really like the angle of view from above, but the twig puts this one over the top for me. Excellent exposure work.

Sweet One Sandy!!!

Sandy I just love the autumn leaf in the beak

Very nice control on the whites which pops nicely against that dark BG

Well done
