Fallen Leaves

Not my cup of tea yet on these kind of images. I used a 50mm lens for this, and dont know if I should have used something wider. The situation is still there, and may be I can go back for this.

The single green leaf is the one that made me compose the frame.

7D, 50mm

Thanks NPN for your support

I like the idea of using the green leaf as a focal point, but I think this would work better with a more uniform background of even more leaves covering the short grass. The grass seems kind of unnatural and beaten down (although it may be completely wild) and therefore less attractive than the fallen leaves. That's just a matter of taste, of course. Regarding your comment on focal length, I think either a closer or wider shot would work, depending on the quality of the background.

I like what you are trying to do here. In my opinion a tighter composition closer to that green leaf would be stronger. I don't think the grass on the right and bottom are adding much interest.

I too like the green leaf, Balan. A tighter comp of the green leaf is definitely the way to go IMO. You would still have the essence of the other leaves, just not so many.
