Beautiful capture Sandy. Some will say the framing is a bit tight but the whites are great and the colours on bill and eye really glow.

Great capture with a perfect background to contrast with the 'display'. I wish the feet weren't cut off, but no one is looking at its feet anyway if you could even see them in the foliage.

Fine work, Sandy. This really shines in the large image! A most difficult pose to get all of. You settled on the most important part, quite wisely I think.

Great breeding colors and a classic breeding pose for this GE. Agree that it's a bit tight, but still well done.

Beautiful breeding display and details, normally I think this would work better as a vertical including the feet but this works well too.

Lovely image Sandy-beautiful job on the exposure. I agree with the nits on the comp but a terrific capture regardless.

Beautiful shot! I shoot a lot of egrets but I am not familiar with this one. I love the pose you caught him in. The sharpness of those feathers is amazing. I am a little distracted by the soft white blur behind the birds head. Other than that, it's a great shot! Nice work.

This is a striking courtship display. I still remember the first time I saw this at High Island Texas. Sandy you've done a magnificent job on exposing the Egret against the dark BG. Excellent job.
