Sea Grass Curves

I was only able to photograph this wonderful sea grass for about 15 minutes at the lowest point of the tide in Samuel Boardman State Park on the southern Oregon coast. Even then, waves were washing over it every few seconds and it looked like wind-blown hair in slow motion. Any critiques are appreciated.

Stunning color and interesting patterns. For whatever reason, my first inclination was to rotate it counterclockwise and I like it that way much better. Well seen Thomas.

Beautiful lines, Thomas. I think I might rotate it 90 degrees ccw but that's simply because I'm used to seeing plants go up and down.

Thomas:

Good eye to spot this and expertly executed. Love the sinuous lines and abstract quality of the image. Agree with Scott about CCW rotation.

Thomas - Great Monochrome. Great lines there while retaining method to the madness. I like others might like this better rotated CCW.

I like this, like everyone else.

As far as orientation is concerned, I actually tried several options, and the simple 90°CCW is nice.

But, what I like even better is a horizontal flip. Both options change the flow from left to right which is easier for the mind to assimilate, but I like the complexity of the statement the horizontal flip makes versus the 90° CCW rotation.

I like it as is. I am comfortable with both the direction of the lines and the landscape framing. This is simple, organized and soothing to the eyes! :toast:
