Ice storm

Prairie Grasses after our recent ice storm. I wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but I'm interested in any thoughts on this image. I really wanted some ice shots in the woods but giant branches were falling with sounds like gun shots and it didn't seem wise without a hard hat.

Ice and water always add a little surreal to an image. Both the ice and the bowing of the grass make this image.

Keith:

This is an interesting scene. Like the warm tone of the curving of the grass and the encasing cool tone of the ice. You might want to consider trimming just a smidgen off the top to exclude the little bit of blue (?sky).
