This is our first warbler to arrive in the spring. This year, spring was quite late and they don't seem to be around yet.

1/320s, f/8, +0.33 EV at ISO 500 with 600 mm f/4 on D300.
Some cloning of unwanted twigs on bottom part.

Excellent, Claude. Nice clean pose and the bg twigs are sufficiently oof as not to be distracting. I do see some remnants of your cloning job in the lrc. You might want to just continue it and eliminate the nearly horizontal light colored twig along the bottom edge.

Nice one, Claude. I think that with this background I might've opened up a little to blur the sticks a bit more. I like the side profile, and definitely a nice looking specimen. :toast:

The BG is a little distracting, but I don't think I have ever seen a warbler out in the open for more than 2 seconds. Very nice capture.

Nice pose, POV, and diagonal orientation Claude, I like it.
The technical side looks excellent also.
The BG with its patch work of branches is blurred well, so it works.
My only nit's the OOF white patch directly in front of the bird, it draws your eye a bit.
I have a few of these here now, but still no close shot like this.. :toast:

Beautiful bird in a nice pose, and more open than I've ever seen them. Nice detail and the BG is fine.
I'm with Dennis - I'd also take the cloning a bit farther and get rid of the entire light branch on the bottom, and probably the 2 little red twigs on the lower left as well.
Fine image!
