Quite bold ,he sauntered past our jeep so close at one point I could only get a head shot of him.Earlier on when we first spotted him coming out of the bush he actually sat down beside the track for several minutes before continueing on towards us.The Leopards of Kabini can often be depended on giving one some great photo ops.
Canon 500 mm plus 2 X . Canon eos 1D MK 1V. 1/200 at F8. ISO 500.
Enjoy and thank you for looking .C/C most welcome .

Wow! Unbelievably good! I agree that Kabini is probably the best place in the world (apart from Yala, Sri Lanka) to see and photograph these spotted cats. If you stay for 3 nights, you have almost 100% chances of seeing leopards!

Suzanne,
I do not normally like images which contain noticable roads, but I will definitely make an exception for this one.

A great pose with great detail and what I perceive to be correct colours rather than overly yellow

Beautiful cat in a good body pose Suzanne, although I wish the two front legs were not overlapping. The giant tree in the BG adds to the shot as well, but personally I am not too fond of the inclusion of the road since it does not add to the composition in any way at all and hence is only a distraction IMO.
