I’m a Dutch photographer living in the eastern part of The Netherlands. My passion for photography developed some 40 years ago. Like many other photographers in those days I started with traditional black and white photography. In my own dark room, I experimented with many different techniques such as, albumine prints, pseudo solarisation (who still knows these days what this is?), platinum prints etc. Being a nature lover, however, I began to miss the colour in my photography and in the 1980-ies I stepped over to colour slides. This also gave me the opportunity to present my photography to a wide audience via multi projector slide shows. In 2004, when I visited Iceland, part of my camera gear took a dive in the sea and I decided that it was the right moment to say farewell to analogue photography. Since then I work with digital gear of Mamiya/Leaf and Canon.
My main interests are landscape, wildlife and travel photography. Apart from selling images via photo agencies etc. I also make AudioVisual productions, that I present in my home country. For my photography I travel all over the world and in the coming years I hope to share with you the photographic results of my trips. I hope you enjoy what I produce and I’m looking forward to receive your comments.
