Tuplip at Cantigney Park

We had a outting early this morning for my composition class at Cantigney Park, Batavia, IL. It was cold, and there was lots of dew on everything; started raining as I left.

Although I found it too breezy to do any stacking, the teacher, Willard Clay, guided me to a tulip bed that was somewhat protected from the wind by hedges, and I took a series of five images of this particular tulip. They were processed in Zerene DMap to accentuate the subject while providing a maximum bokeh, one way focus stacking is used.

Any reactions, comments and/or critiques welcome.

Pentax K-5, Pentax 300mm at f/4, tripod; ISO 100, 1/45s.

John: Shooting this same subject I would shift it left in the frame to put more space in front of it so the flower is "looking" into the frame instead of out but this still works for me as is. Really nice work on the stack. >=))>

Very nice effect, John. Water drops are always a plus with me.
