There's nothing like and evening swim, to cool off after a hot summer day.

You've demonstrated that there is beauty even in the simplest of things, at least in my view.

These are the elements that make it work for me: The contrast in both luminance and color between the grass and the water; the slightly diagonal flow from left to right with hither luminance overall being on the right; the vertical gray branch below the surface that is centered; the connection to the edges on both sides; the bands of negative deep shadow on the top and bottom; and, importantly, the single grass strand near the bottom right corner.

You have created an outstanding composition and work of art here, in my view. It inspires me to look and to see what is at hand.

Really like the simplicity of your image, with the grasses suspended in a green blue space, as well as the ambiguity of the submerged stick, centered in your composition, which works quite well. Nicely done.

I really like the comp, interesting details, the reflections and suspended grasses are pretty neat. I have to disagree with John though--i think the bottom grass strand is a distraction and should be cropped/cloned. My 3 pennies. :wavey:
