A bit of a classical picture, but I like the light in the picture. The picture was made about a year ago when it was autumn at the southern hemisphere. I sat down for about an hour just enjoying the landscape and the changing light. I shot several pictures and this is the one I like best

Camera: Mamiya 645DF with Leaf back
ISO 100, 35 mm, 1/200 sec f/11

Beautiful dappled sun and those skies look like they mean business. Very atmospheric!

Chris,

Well done with this Autumn landscape. The contrast with the gray clouds and orange, gold vegetation make this image work :toast: . You deserve a beer for this one...............................Jim

You might class this one as a classical image Chris but I never get tied of seeing excellent photographs. Very well done.

Wonderful storm light Chris. I like the contrasts especially with the golden glow of the sun lit ground against the ark sky.

Fantastic light on the foreground, that together with the ominous, storm clouds and awesome peaks, makes for an incredibly dramatic image. Amazing.

I like how the dark clouds and the dark foreground create a nice vignette. The tone of the foliage contrasts nicely with the overall greyness of the image, nicely seem!

Impressive interplay of light and shadow for me, Chris. The kind of vignetting is spot on to my eye.

Wonderfully dramatic! And, a view I have not seen before.

I like the painterly look to this. Seems tilted to the right, otherwise everything looks nice and dramatic.
