Another one from the 18th. We got a rain shower on our way to Mima Mounds, so everything was still pretty wet. I liked the effect on this blossom.

5Diii, 180mm f3.5 macro on tripod. f10, 1/160, Av mode with no compensation, iso 500. a slight crop on the left side to modify the composition-final is 18.9 MP. Taken May 18th at 1:26 pm under cloudy skies.

Your comments and criticisms are very much appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Another beautiful shot in these great conditions, Dennis. This one looks more pale than the last one. I really like the fine detail on the whole flower against the soft background.

Beautiful image of this rose, Dennis! Beautiful colors. Excellent detail in the flower center. I like the raindrops. If it were mine I would clone out the specks of dirt on the petals, but that's just a personal preference.

Beautiful color and comp Dennis, water drops are a big plus, and I definitely like the bg. Very well seen and presented.
