It's looking like a good year for the Local Peregrine Falcon population.

Great shot of a stunning species. Here they only inhabit the ledges of the high rise buildings, so no fun in shooting them there. This is great however ! Cheers, Hans

This is excellent all the way around Charlie, great DOF to get the whole falcon sharp, very cool perch and I like the bg very much, nice colors and nice to have some OOF variation. Well done :toast: There does appear to be one stuck/hot pixel dot in the upper left corner.

Hi Charlie, killer BKG, lovely detail with a nice look backwards. Big bonus with the feathers entwined in the talons. :toast:

Lovely photo of a very special bird. Great detail and colours. The perch and the 'over the shoulder' look also work well. Very neat.

Great job on the techs and it's posed perfectly to show off all of it's feather detail while giving you a nice portrait. The distant BG is great. :toast:

I don't know which is more impressive, Charlie: the photo or that you were able to get this close to the PEFA. A perfect capture of the Peregrine's "who you messing with" attitude. Excellent.

Awesome head turn, good bokeh and a really fine perch. Details are real good and shots like this of Peregrines are not easy to come by.
