Another Lupine

I liked the beautiful symmetry and perfect condition of this spire. This is another one from the group outing last Saturday.

5Diii, 180mm f3.5 macro, tripod, f6.3, 1/1000, iso 500, Av mode with no compensation. Processed in CS6. Taken May 18th at 10:58 am under cloudy skies.

Wonderful way the subject plant with foliage stands out from the oof background. Your focus is really great and image overall is so pleasing..

This is beautiful, Dennis. Excellent dof management getting the entire flower and foreground leaves sharp while maintaining a nice clean bg. The light is perfect, and the dew drops are icing on the cake. Excellent all around.

Dennis: Just perfect! Love the DOF and BG. As you probably know the Texas lupine (bluebonnets) are the state flower and one of my favorite wildflower subjects. Top notch shot. >=))>
