Western Grebe

This Western Grebe was captured last month at the Klamath Falls Basin National Wildlife Refuge Area. It was a fairly cold morning for April with choppy waters, rain and snow.

I have seen more of this breed in Colorado than ever before for some reason and have come to love this species. Nice framing and exposure on this Craig.

Very pleasing image - sweet bird and detail, muted water that sets off bird perfectly.
