Green Crowned Brilliant
by Keith Bauer
I returned earlier this week from leading my Landscape Photographic Workshop in Costa Rica. While birds were not the primary subject, the abundance of hummingbirds is something that always presents nice opportunities.
This little Green Crowned brilliant was on a feeder that was at eye level so I decided to get a nice tight head shot while walking around. This is the result.
While I liked the detail captured, the slight movement of of the beak was a bummer. Oh well.
