A view from Uncle Tom's Trail not far from the bottom. Had been pretty much total cloud cover that day but on the way back up all those stairs there were some fleeting moments of partial sun.

Thanks for looking.

John,

Love this viewpoint! Can't say I've ever scene this before from Yellowstone. The rainbow of course is icing on the cake and everything is working very well here - great balance. Those clouds look pretty daunting, but glad enough light shined through for you to capture this moment. Excellent.

Hey John. I don't recall ever seeing this view of the falls. I like the different view. Nice light, and the rainbow is excellent.

If memory serves me correctly the shot was taken several steps above the second to the last stair landing from the bottom. :toast:

Really nice image John. Beautiful tones in the rock and dramatic sky and the rainbow tops it off. Great job.

John: One of my favorite places on the planet. I really like the POV from this trail and am surprised there are relatively few shots from there. Very nicely done.>=))>

I'm liking this one! The whole curved look is cool, and you have a very unique perspective for me. The bow is a great addition, and your shutter speed shows the flow force just as well. Fine work here.
