Energy
by Peter Coskun
Began this hike at 4:30 in the morning with Doug K to make it to this area before the sun crept over the canyon walls. I felt sleep deprived from the lack of sleep I had in the back of my car while camping nearby. I could barely remember getting to this spot, but once I hit the water, I was wide awake and the energy struck me like a mack truck. I've always had a fascination with this small crack in the canyon. This morning proved to be a fun lesson in mixing fire and water. Also, this crack is quite deceptive, it is much deeper than you would think! Comments and critiques appreciated. Large version included.
