Sunset Silhouette

I've been trying a variety of ideas that fit Marc's theme for the month, but have (somehow

) managed to make it more complex... Anyway, here's a composite of a silhouette (actually a posterized, 4 bits) of Antler Mt over Swan Lake in Yellowstone and a Paradise Valley, MT sunrise. I'm very interested in what folks think...does this work or have I lost it? Regardless of the answer, I have had a lot of fun trying lots of picture combinations.

My first impression registered much like Mark's-- "HOLY COW!" Very few images rate that kind of a response from me! Very interesting process and a terrific result!!

Not being rude, this looks like a picture that would be on the back of a tee shirt

My first impression is a volcanic eruption in winter, and that's some lava flow!
It's a great image to play with, the possibilities seem endless..
A lot of impact, well 'played' Mark

Mark.... very nice. Now show us more. (you're the only guy on the playground right now). What would your masked silhouette look like in front of other backgrounds?
