From last week in Grand Teton. I obviously set up among many tripod holes, so take it FWIW. I liked the overcast conditions, which for me tended to simplify the image. Cropped from 4/3rds original.

I usually would not like this much empty foreground Bill, but this is so well balanced. I like this alot. Well done.

Bill,

I might like this better with a complete pano crop to emphasize the symmetry and reflection. But as so often happens, we find these iconic locations in all kinds of conditions and the conditions here certainly make for a not so common take away. Nothing to complain or critique really, you did well with the conditions presented to. I still think a narrow format might work really well with this image.

Bill, I would agree that the image may be better with some of the bottom water area cropped off. That area of the photo really does not add anything to the image.

What a great way to use an overcast day. I really like the minimalist feeling created by all the emptiness at the bottom. It would be interesting to see a pano crop to compare, but I suspect that it would be a very different photo.

I never get tired of seeing images from this locale, Bill. I have one from here that gives me fond recall of the morning. Wonderful take on this site.

Did you have to clone out any water circles from fish breaking the surface? I had a few I cloned out of mine.
