Seattle Sunset

Joined the ranks for an iconic shot of Seattle....last night. Been having some nice sunsets...lately. Previous days displays were breathtaking. Alas, the pesky day job... I was too wiped out. But, not to be completely defeated.

Nikon d800e with Zeiss 35mm and polarizer. 1/8 shutter and 100 iso. I did a little graduated filter too. This is about 1/3 size, much was cropped.

Very nice glow & colors in your Seattle sunset sky, it's a great overall comp and 'iconic' view as you say.
I have a photographer friend that lives there (Paul Bratescu), but we haven't talked in year or so..
I digress  Very nice, looks excellent to me.
PS - If I cropped my Canon 1D M3 to 1/3 size, you'd need a microscope for viewing

I never get tired of this view of our fair city! The summer sunsets can truly amaze, when we get 'em, but it makes for a long day with sunset so late... Love the orange glow and purple clouds, Ken.
