Excellent Charlie! I really like this! This looks like a wonderful clock face and I'm guessing you have been playing around with other "times" and comps. What do you think about a vertical 2:18? Seriously though, I think you have many possibilities here.
One small suggestion, the little yellow piece in the ULC slightly takes away from the classic look of this time piece - but that's getting picky. Great job with this.

I don't think that is "picky" Lon. It is one piece of this beautiful 16th century clock that is a modern replacement. I already toned it down some, but you see the "out of place" look of it too. Is 2:18 significant? I don't get it if it is. Thanks for looking and commenting.

You showed just enought that I can easily tell this is an old clock, but at the same time it's not too much and you allowed it to become a bit abstract.

Kent it is old, but 300 year newer than I said above. It is an 18th century clock with a card dated 1743 with a list of services done over the years by a clock maker.

Charlie,
No, "2:18" I just pulled out of the air. I was just trying to say that the different positions of the hands, hour/minute, ie. different times, present lots of other opportunities for different comps, angles, etc. It also was an attempt to go along with your title. The number has no significance.

These shots are so hard to pull off, but you made it look easy, Charlie. Excellent comp!
