This is one of my favorite spots in my hometown park. I have been waiting patiently for years for this dogwood to grow up. It's branches now reach over into the view. Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown. Thanks for looking. Comments, suggestions, and questions welcome. :wavey:

Scott,

I can see why this might be a favorite spot. Kudos for all those years of patience! It's certainly paid off. This is a lovely and tranquil scene. Make me wish I was there to just sit and gaze for a while.

No nits to speak of, but if it were mine I might consider burning down a couple of those rocks in the LR, especially if you're going to print this one. Color and processing look great.

Its nice you have such a wonderful favorite spot. I think you have captured it very well with the beautiful dogwood and tranquil stream. I like the green reflections in the water as well. Nicely done! Chet

Serene and lovely. I like the distinct currents in the stream and the reflected color in the calm stretch. Very nicely done

I agree that this is a very peaceful scene. I like the composition and the movement of the eye down the river.

The dogwood is the icing. It works well to provide some contrast to the spring colors. Very well done.

Love the dogwood blossoms that lead your eye up to that darker area at the head of the creek, excellent comp.
