I fought some wind, and am not overly happy with the results. I hope to get out again in some calm.

Very cool looking plant, Bob. I do think you need calmer weather. these blossoms look very delicate with lots of detail and I think they deserve more detail than the high wind allowed.

A little dark, but you do convey the soft feeling these blossoms have. Love these trees, and I used to have on in my front yard as a kid. Loved climbing it because of the smooth bark.

Very nice plant. I love the colors and the fluffy flowers! I hope you get a chance to photograph it when there is less wind.

Bob - I might have also tried a long enough shutter speed (if possible with a 2 or 3 Stop ND filter) to make a nice abstract with a lot of motion blur. Not sure it would have worked out great but I have had some success with long shutter speed pans.

Love the feel of this overall, Bob and Charly, if it is maybe a touch dark. The light and shade give a sense of the depth of the plant, of being in amongst the foliage.
