Seed Time

Actually, it's been going on for quite awhile now judging by the number of species we've been collecting and/or cleaning at the native plant nursery. This is the seed head of Cut-leaf Microseris.

5Diii, 180mm f3.5 macro, f14, 1/640, iso 640, Av mode with -2/3 compensation (it was starting to get a bit sunny). A stack might have been fun for this, but it was a breezy morning. Processed in CS6. Cropped in from the sides and a bit of canvas added on the top. Taken June 11th on our local prairie preserve at 8:44 am.
