Classic cold and crisp Kathy. Love the eye contact and the bit of grass hanging out of the mouth. Looks like it was right on top of you.

Great frame-filling portrait of this bison, Kathy. I like the angled head pose you captured here as well as the nicely sharp details of the head. The grass in his mouth adds some interest and adds a nice storytelling element. Also adding interest are the clumps of fur being shed and the frosty coating on his fur. Even though it is realistic, the clump of fur on the left side tends to pull my eyes away from the face. Depending what you wanted to do with this image, you could clone it out if you wished. A very fine capture.

the lighter band around the bison on the right really draws your attention to that side, exactly where it needs to be. This is a unique and striking image. A pleasure to view.

Ah yes, a frosty morning in Yellowstone. Excellent catch on this bison showing off both the frost and the springtime shedding. The turned head is especially nice.
