Wind in the Grass

Working with the constant wind here on the prairie. The bluestem grass is turning color and Sage is growing tall and green, but the wind keeps them in constant motion. I would appreciate all comments and critiques as to how you think this works. Thanks ahead of time.

Richard,

I have to say this one doesn't work for me. Perhaps if there were a rock or something that was sharp to anchor the image, it would work better. That's just my two cents, but I feel the same way about flowing water abstracts.

I think this is interesting concept and like what you are doing here. I'm just wondering if you should go further with an even slower shutter til it becomes even more abstract. Anyway just an idea. Hope you will keep experimenting and sharing. Chet

I have to say that I like this, Richard. I like your thought process here. I could also see this working with a slower SS to emphasize the constant wind even more and make it more of an abstract.

Nice concept - perhaps a little more contrast would make this a little more graphic and make it work better. It might be somewhere in the middle of not enough and too much motion in the grass, though.
