Wow, that blue really pops Daniel. The sunstar works well too. Nice!

Ditto what Joe said. The details are particularly nice in the large version, Daniel. Congrats on the third place. :toast:

Wow, I'm glad I opened this up. The thumbnail surely did not do this one justice. As is to be expected with forest scenes this is a busy scene but I think you have arranged the elements very nicely for a pleasing composition. One has to view the large image to really get a sense of this scene - I would love to see this printed large as I think it would feel as if I could walk right into the scene.

Daniel, both the composition and the rendering the colors and tones is excellent. The thumbnail does not do it justice, that’s for sure.

Congrats on the 3rd place! This is a great image, and surprisingly great considering how much is going on here. You have definitely turned an otherwise 'busy' scene into a well organized, beautiful photo... The natural processing is perfect. As already commented, if this were printed big, I would practically believe I was standing there!

Yea I have to agree, this one is spectacular. Love the back light on the color purple. The greens fill in the rest of your comp very nice. Great shot.

Gorgeous, yet natural color. I like your comp and the included sunstar as well. The greens add such nice support for the blues, too. Nice!

Beautiful forest scene Daniel. Not easy to balance the exposure in places like this. Fantastic work.
