Juvenile YCNH

Another image from Horicon, this time from last year. This juvenile YCNH made the marsh its home last summer (and created lots of excitement among birders here). This image was taken one evening - the heron posed for me till it was chased out by a great egret.

1D3/600mm+1.4. ISO1000, 1/40s@F7.1.
Toned down a bright piece of grass in the background.

Excellent, Govind. I like the pose and the dirty legs.

Nice image of this little one - good pose, fine detail, and natural habitat.
Well-done!

Very nice Govind, would also be nice if you cropped the blurry reflection out, a question of taste. Not a nit, just a thought.
