Seasonal Waterfall

I love going to Mt. Rainier in early summer to find all the waterfalls created by the snow melt. This is along Hwy 123 on the way to Ohanapecosh in Mt. Rainier National Park.

D700, 70-200/2.8 vr, tripod, cpl. f 22, 1/5, ISO 200, -1.67EV.

The water is perfect! I like the veggie framing and the contrasting rocks, all forcing the eye to the complex waterfall.

Excellent vertical presentation of this waterfall scene, Catherine. Overall framing of the site looks perfect along with a good shutterspeed choice on the water too. Hard not to pick up some slight movement in the foliage around water like this, but it's all minimal and no distraction at all IMO. Very pretty capture overall.

I like how the bushes are hanging tightly around the water, almost pointing out the scene to anyone passing by.

A beautiful intimate with an excellent comp. I like the framing by the greens and the shutter speed for the flow.
