This is the bud of the same Hibiscus I posted previously.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm of ET, F/16, 1/15 Sec, Mirror Lock-Up, ISO400, Plamp and Tripod.

Wish there was sunlight available for me to throw some reflected light into the darker areas.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Hibiscus and let me know what you think of this one.

What a wonderful pattern, Ram! I am captivated by the amount of details and the warm colors in this image. Your comp is also perfect. :toast:

Another excellent addition to the "Spiral Collection," Ram. The contrast looks good to me, including the darker shaded areas. :toast:

p.s., thanks for your comment on my coneflower image, Ram. In case you were interested, I've posted two other versions in Photo Art. :wavey:

This is outstanding, Ram. You have done some very nice work with extension tubes. Beautiful color and exquisite detail. The hairs at the edge are a great touch. I have never seen such detail in a hibiscus. I think the darker shadow adds depth. Wonderfully done!

Fascinating up-close look at the inner workings of this flower. I assume that is a Fibonacci spiral? Excellent comp and detail.
