When I arrived at the Great Sand Dunes NP, a thunder storm is coming in fast. I decided not to climb up the dune. But two brave young men went right pass me and climbed all the way to the top. Well, the rain was heavy but the view must be better. Life is full of compromises.

What a magnificent cloud! It complements the curves of the dune quite well. The addition of the folks on top add a sense of scale and also make this image much better than not having them there at all. Good capture, John!

Excellent John! Great story even without any information from you - it's pretty clear what's going on. I even like the tracks along the left of the dune to help complete the story. Nicely framed and captured.
