I like the composition on this one. To me, it seems to have a bit of an over-processed feel to it, like there was too much highlight recovery used or something. It does have somewhat of a painterly feel to it, so if that's what you were going for then it can work as is.

I like the composition; you've captured the sense of place well. On my monitor there appears to be a bluish cast to the foreground trees and rocks and the blue in the water seems unnatural to me.

The composition works well, but the processing here is way overcooked. It looks like you cranked the highlight and shadow sliders as far as they will go. This gives the shadows a bright blue look, and the highlights go gray instead of white. This is one of those situations where it's best to just wait for ideal light when the sun is below the immediate horizon, or it is a cloudy day. Digital processing really doesn't do much to make up for harsh light.

It really is a good comp. And, I agree it needs some tweaking in pp. But, worth the time, for sure.

fantastic composition, and I'm agreed about the processing, it looks like HDR

I like your composition and how the water moves through the image Rick. Agree with the others about processing but with a few tweaks you can have a nice image. Worth the effort I think.

A very nice comp, and I'd agree with the good feedback you've received on the processing.

Nice comp, but I would agree with the other comments about the processing. It has a strong HDR look and the colors are way over-cooked, for lack of a better term.
