Hi all,
I picked this at Zion National Park.I blend two exposures and convert it to BW.
your C&C is highly required.

This is stunning! The only C&C I have is that the sun beam seems to continue way down into the river. I might clone that out.

I like the stark contrast and composition, but there seems to be some haloing around the mountains and tree to the left. I would also try toning down the foliage of the leaves on the trees as they appear unnatural and too glowy in appearance. I think with a little work this could really pop.

Great image. My only comment would be be that I think that the upper right corner is a bit empty. Perhaps you can try to make the top of the mountain in that area a bit more visible.

This is a great image with nice drama. If you could limit the haloing around the mountains it would be perfect for my taste. Nice work!

Wow, what spectacular lighting. I agree that the haloing detracts a bit.

I love this scene, the idea behind this and the darkness and contrast. The sunstar for me though is a little too "mechanical" for lack of a better word. Kinda like those star filters one could put in front of the lens. I think it's a striking image with the sun star, but yet it also diminishes the naturalness of it - if that makes sense.

I am really enjoying the uniqueness of the processing, with the heavy contrast and almost night-like appearance. I would agree with Lon about the sunstar, as it does look artificial to my eye.
