From Ptarmigan ridge trail several years ago. Will include the B&W, since that's the one I've printed. Went back with improved development skills. Canon 20D, 17-40mm at 21mm, polarizer. f11, iso 100, 1/250th.

Very nice interaction of mountains and clouds. I personally prefer the b+w version as I think it shows more detail and more depth.

Very nice capture of mountain atmospherics Daniel. I like both but maybe the B&W for the extra drama and depth it produces. Nicely done.

It's a beautiful shot either way. Great color in the first one and the b&w makes for a dramatic portrait. Well done.

Love the sweeping view of the peaks and sky. Incredible clouds add lots of energy. I think the b&w version has a slight edge but both are excellent

I love the BW conversion! I kinda wish there was more to see on the bottom. This is one of my favorite areas to visit any time of year.

Thanks for posting, Daniel.

For me the B&W version is by far the better one: much more drama. Excellent shot.

Wow, you sure do make it hard to choose, Daniel. While both are beautifully done; I have to give the nod to the B&W because it seems to accentuate the drama in the sky more than the color. My only suggestion would have been a bit more room at the bottom if that was possible. Either way this works rather nicely.

Oh wow. The contrasting colors are beautiful. I love a good cloud show and you captured it nicely.
