These birds are now less common in Ontario. They were sharing a nesting box with House sparrows (said to be unusual. Shot as it was returning to box over a fence because box was on private property. Hand held with shoulder brace.

Excellent job catching this one, Roger. Noise is really showing in the larger version. Is this a significant crop?

The noise aside, it's a great flight shot Roger.
Looks like it's getting ready to land..
I like the outstretched feet with wings back pose, and the bug-n-adds well too:toast:

Sweet action Roger, I think you could go a little darker on the bird which might reduce the noise if you used shadow/highlight to lighten it. The bug and landing pose are excellent. :toast:

Thanks guys. I should have said that the image is about 30% of original. The noise may be partially due to my increasing structure with Viveza. Because of the bird's color it's almost impossible to get detail so I tried to increase it & also lighten it.

Great flight capture Roger  I really like the out-stretched feet and wing position. But, it does seem little light and a bit noisy to me also.

Great capture, Roger. Noise already discussed; nevertheless, focus and exposure were clearly in check. Nice job.
