Very nice comp and colors! I love the way the shape of the flower is the same as the bricks above it and also has similar colors to the bricks. Also, the lighting on the flower and stem is very nice. Well done!

The two flowers in their different states are nicely captured, Bob and Charly. I like having the urban bg, which makes a good contrast with the flowers - just wonder whether we might have seen even more to place the flowers a bit more clearly ? Perhaps that would have been too messy; anyway, very nice to see these flowers softening the townscape.

Bob, I like the blooming flower against the red brick. To me, the spent flower is not that attractive and doesn't convey anything, unless I am missing it, so I think I'd prefer an image which isolates the beautiful blooming sunflower against the red brick.

Bob, I sure like that big bloom on the right and how it's colors are complemented by the bricks in the background. The green leaves are a great additional color. I too could do without the spent bloom on the left, especially with that one leaf on the left touching both the frame and leaf from another plant. My hand keeps wanting to come up and gently bend that spent bloom out of the picture.

I like the story this tells. "As I am now, you soon will be." A preparatory tale. I do wish you had composed slightly left to include all of the left leaf.

Interesting juxtaposition of elements, Bob. I like the composition, but would like to see the sunflower a bit brighter.
