RRC or Cathedral Rocks near Sedona, AZ.

This was an evening shot taken during some late afternoon thunderstorms in the area. It was early October and during midday it was still hitting around 100 degrees.

Not too much to add beyond I wanted the reflection in the FG to show some of the cloud cover too so I left it only slightly cropped at the bottom.

Thank you in advance for your C&C's and please review the LARGER version.

Stunning image, Paul! Great comp, layers, colors, lighting, sky, and reflections. Love the touch of brighter lighting on the tops of the rocks. Very well photographed and processed. Can't think of any way to improve on this!

I'm enjoying this one. This does have a very pleasant and relaxing "after the rain" mood to it.

Very nice Paul, love the comp and you exposed this in expert fashion.
Small nit (very small) is the crop excess apparent TRC in the large view.
Beautiful work :toast:

Beautiful Paul. Great reflection shot with the clouds on top and bottom. Love the bright greens on the red dirt. Classic view of the red rock country.

Lovely look at these formations. I like the gentle light hitting the tops and the very clean reflections. It sure doesn't have me thinking 100 degrees...looks very cool and inviting.
