These buntings are so beautiful! Even more so, imo, when set off with a nice green background!

Excellent, Sharon. Nice clean look at the bunting and a great head turn. I like the nice diagonal line formed by the crests of the foliage.

I'm not an avian photographer but I know a quality image when I see one and this one easily fits in that category. Excellent color contrast combined with an excellent composition. This should give some tough competition for the weekly picks IMHO!!

Really nice clean image Sharon. The blue on these guys looks to be a turquoise blue. Thanks for sharing this one.
I have never seen one of these in the wild yet, but finally spotted a Lazuli Bunting for the first time and even managed a couple of shots in the 4 seconds he gave me before flying away.
