Well you got the right half Charlie... :wink: Perfect dof for this cute pose; sharp, nicely exposed and great color as well. From now on when I think of a weasel I'll be thinking of you Charlie. :biggrin:

Another sweet photo of this guy or gal. Great alert pose among the vegetation, those little white blooms are a sweet bonus.

Vincent, since I've lived in San Diego I've only seen this species 3 or 4 times. It's usually out of the corner of your eye, and then they're gone. This time I found a spot where there was a den with 5 young. This is probably mom out hunting Gophers. Once I found their territory, this Weasel was actually very cooperative and would come within a few feet of my big lens. I took 800 photos in two hours as I might not get another chance.
