I have been very lucky with Wild Dog sightings, and am currently going back through my catalogue in a tidying up excercise, prior to getting a book printed.

Here is one I have polished up a bit, this one was taken on the dried up river bed of the Limpopo on the border between South Africa and Borswama
EOS 1D MkII (the one that did not focus  )

I like the angle you took this from, and that he had to look back over the shoulder to scope you out. Different from other images of these subjects I have seen. That is some coat they have!

Seems out of focus (kidding! ) What a great animal to have around. A nice, clean shot. I like the setting and coloring of the Dog.

The larger view is a real treat. Wonderful "dog-like" expression, at least that's how our pom looks when I call him. Very pretty animal with the wild patterns and colors, you captured him well, as usual. :toast:

The low point of view really adds to this already excellent image. Composition, color, dof, sharpness, and the list goes on  . Nice work.
