White Fronted Bee-Eater
by Ken Watkins
At the right time of year a visit to a colony of these birds can produce some interesting sightings. They generally have their colonies in the steep cliffs of rivers, so you need a boat to get near them.
We found this colony on the banks of the Rufiji River in Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania. Hand-held from drifting boat.
