Bateleur Eagle

This is my favourite of all of Africa;s Raptors that I have seen,
I for one refuse to adopt the new name "Short Tailed Eagle", whilst it maybe a good descriptive name, it lacks the romance of the real name.
This was taken around 5 years ago in Kwando concession, Botswana

I'm soooo jealous Ken! This is my favorite African eagle but we've never managed to get close enough to a Bateleur to get a shot like this. Nothing I would do different here, well done!

Lovely Bateleur Ken.
You've captured all the variations in plumage colour beautifully. They are indeed one of the most attractive raptors.
