I don't know if this image -- and many more I have produced similar to it -- belong on this site or not. I'd appreciate your comments. The set of images of which this is an example certainly began as a "normal" nature photo. Then I experimented with plug-ins - including polar coordinates - and produced images that I find attractive and evocative...but they have nothing directly to do with Nature. I've seen some other images over time in this Nature Art gallery that seemed as abstract as this one...but I'd like to hear from you.

The Photo Art gallery seems to be the place where many images end up that the artist is not sure of.... As moderator, I'm pretty lenient about what's here... and that's partly a function of the fact that we don't get that many posts here as compared with the other galleries. We would still like to see evidence of some "nature" as this is the Nature Photographers Network. If this is an image that you produced from a "nature" shot, then we would love to see the original posted.
