Canon EOS 1D X, 600 mm, -0.33 ev, F/11, 1/80 , lens on monopod with RRS head.
Hope the shot fit into the weekly challenge , the photo was taken on purpose to create "smudgy effect" of the grackle chasing GBH when collecting building material for the nest.
C&C always appreciated :wavey:

I really get a sense of fast motion. Good job.

Agree a good job of blurring to show the action, but I hope you might have a sharp image of this also. The small area of blue helps the image. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great Story-telling image. I particularly like the grackle.

Great moment to capture, Verdon. I like the story this tells and the sense of a chase going on by the blurred movement in the photo. Our point of focus zeroes in on the blue on the grackle, both because of the neon-like color of the blue but also because that area is more in focus than the rest of the image. Actually, that works great because it helps give a sense the grackle is "focused" on a mission and is the one controlling the situation. Works great for the challenge too.
