Iced Away

Entering ice cave is like walking into another dimension. It feels as if the time was frozen and kept in the ice.For me it is one of the most spiritual moments when I feel the cold breeze inside the cave combined with with the visual display of light filtering through the ice.
The dirt that is visible in the ice on the glacier comes from the volcanic ashes that have been accumulated in the area over the years. These clean and dirty layers created different levels of glow intensity.

Any suggestions and comments appreciated.

This is a very realistic DR blend, well done! Really neat image!

This is magical. I've never been in an ice cave, and this gives me a sense of what it would be like. Initially, I wasn't sure what I was looking at (I'm a look first, read second kinda gal on forums) but it might also be that the very top bit (oh, an inch down on a 18" monitor) is a bit empty and lowering the ceiling would make it more cave like. Of course, as I said, I've never been in one so that is completely subjective and disposable advice.

I love the green cyan tones in this- very natural and a bit different and more unique than the normal blues you see.
